5. In Karnataka, the death of social justice is strong for CM Stalin:

As of 4 Apr 2023, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin alleged that social justice is being murdered by sharing the reservation given to Muslims in Karnataka among other communities.

He spoke at the first national convention of the All India Social Justice Organization. He criticized that the current reservations are mostly given on the basis of who votes for BJP and who does not.

The reservations given to Muslims have been taken back. They have been shifted to the economically weaker section. The reservation given to Muslims has been divided and distributed to two more communities. This has created animosity between them,” Stalin alleged.

“Similarly, bias is going on among Scheduled Castes too. All this is being done keeping in mind the upcoming Karnataka assembly elections. This classification is done on the basis of who will vote for BJP and who will not. It is clear that social justice is being killed in Karnataka,” he said.

“It is not a standard. A person who is poor today may become rich tomorrow. Or it may be the other way around. Another person may hide the wealth they have. So it is not right to make it a standard for giving reservations,” he opined.
